MALE MEMBERS OF STAFF
To us at Blinded Faith, being a part of the many elements that help change the lives of young people is extremely important and it is with this hope that we continue to work in this field. With this in mind, (we ask that) the children and young people enlisted to work with us in any capacity are the ones at most risk of spiralling down into a life of crime and/or exploitation, one decision at a time. Although we work with anyone, no matter the stage of their journey, at the heart of this is the prevention work we do. We implore you to not see a case as 'too soon' for intervention as we all know how quickly situations can change and our hope is that we, as a support system, start to see the extraordinary work needed before a CYP becomes regularly known by law enforcement officers. I know first-hand how prevention work could have saved a lot of heart ache for many in my life and let's be honest, the system a lot of money too. Together we can bring change to LIVES.
FEMALE MEMBERS OF STAFF
As a team, having experienced a combination of fatherlessness, not knowing who or where the biological father is, or a lack of positive older influences and having to navigate the world with this weight and all that brings, the female staff understands the masked outcry's of our female youth, as many have a similar story. Whether that cry shows it self in 'outrageous' choice of clothes to quickly grab attention, or the silent strokes of pain inflicted on themselves as external factors becomes an internal battle. We, as the female team of Blinded Faith are here to walk along side the truths of such pains with our young people as they learn how to steer through and turn their pains into PURPOSE.
